Youtube Shorts are rapidly growing on youtube as youtube is promoting them. It’s a good chance for you to grow your youtube channel with the help of youtube shorts. Many of the channels on youtube have grown with youtube shorts and having millions of views.

 

What Are YOUTUBE SHORTS:

Well, youtube has announced a TikTok or Instagram reels clone called youtube shorts. Shorts help you in becoming viral just by making a 1-minute video on youtube. Youtube will automatically show your shorts to the viewers watching a video related to your shorts. And boom you can also redirect the viewer to your channel it is a kind of marketing.

So, here I came up with amazing youtube shorts ideas which will help you grow your youtube channel fast and amazing tricks to make youtube shorts.

Micro-Projects: 

Let's say you've got a furniture channel and you do a lot of like refinishing or how-to type of things for a short a perfect approach here would be to show a beforehand hey this table looked terrible and then the process they went through to show the after hand after hand I think that's the thing beforehand and afterward so what you would do is for the short you would show brief little snippets of the entire thing as you're going through here's what I did first I took off I sanded it all off and then I prepped it and then I added a coat of paint and then I added the finish and then this is how I put it together whatever each step is your goal is show a before and then show and after I love it you can do that in 60 seconds it's the type of stuff that you would typically do in a montage in a full-length youtube video but in this case, you can do it quite nicely in 60 seconds and give a compelling reason to show look this is the type of projects

Recycled Content:

Let's say you're doing makeup tutorials and you previously had these full-length videos where you kind of explained the story behind it you kind of showed real time how you did it i i don't know very much about makeup but i'm using this as an example because i think it would be an excellent case of recycling content where you take that full makeup tutorial and you pull out the very best parts you showed before and after this is similar to the whole micro project thing but if you could show this is these are the key five points these five points make sure you do this this this this and this so you take the previous video footage and then you make it seem new i would not in this case take just a 60 second portion of an old video unless it could really count as a short make sure that you take it and you make it full vertical if the video is normally horizontal which most videos are you make sure you take clips out of it or you zoom in enough so that it can show full vertical for the short where possible of course and then make sure that it feels fresh and new and complete even without them seeing the previous video 

Pure Entertainment:

I was going to call this pure humor but the reality is there's a lot of content that's not necessarily humorous but it is very entertaining the reason i say that is that the primary competitor of youtube shorts right now is tick-tock so examples of this you can do things like look watch what my dog does when he sees snow for the first time is there any outside purpose for that aside from pure entertainment no there isn't you can do humorous content also like hey what happens when i prank my friend or if you're doing more of a down-to-earth niche type channel let's say you're doing reviews of kitchen products you can say listen to what my ridiculous kitchenaid sounds like when i put cookie batter in it but i'm certain that type of stuff would do very well on youtube shorts i will add an addendum here with youtube shorts being so new and in direct competition with the other platform that sounds kind of like a clock ticking and talking you know what i mean because of youtube shorts being relatively new this is an opportunity for you and i to actually elevate the level of content that are that is on youtube shorts as opposed to the other competition out there and actually make it higher quality and more informative than any of the other platforms right now so you got that i choose you to make better shorts okay 

Micro Reviews:

this goes without saying that to review something some product some experience in 60 seconds or less it has got to be micro my friend so to do a micro review that would look like hey I’ve got this product let's say I have a pillow and I’ve got this pillow and I’ve got to condense it down to 11 points or less but I would even if it was a review I would keep it to 5 points or less and say I like this I don't like this too if I were reviewing a camera I would say these are the specs boom boom boom boom boom and here's how the photos look before and after and then at that point a natural call to action is say look I did a full-length review on my channel go subscribe and check it out if you'd like 

Experiments:

this one would do very well if for example you had a baking channel and you wanted to do bizarro things that you take what happens when I add a cup of baking soda to this cake recipe and you show here's the experiment here's the results this would be so good if you were able to pull in ideas like that for whatever your subject is and look at it and ask yourself the question what could I do here that nobody else has tried before the natural result of creating that type of video is that people have a curiosity and you satiate that curiosity and then they want to know more and they're curious to know hey do they have more stuff like this on your channel 

Myth-Busting: 

this is where you take a commonly held belief about your niche or your industry and you bust it an excellent example of this would be if you're doing something in more of the lifestyle or the organization niches there are a lot of life hacks where they show hey if you do this little cheap little thing it will make your life so much easier if you could test those things and myth bust does this work does this not work within a 60 second short people would eat that up 

Amazing facts:

the whole idea of ridleys believe it or not is built on this idea or the Guinness world records you can use an example here of did you know that if you apply this certain leather conditioner to the seats in your car then they will last twice as long and show some proof before and after oh my goodness amazing facts like that would be excellent next

Story-Telling:

if you were to take 60 seconds and tell a compelling story it could even be an emotional story or an outrageous story or a humorous story but if you took 60 seconds to say hey this happened to focus on only the key points say this happened then this happened oh and then I was in this pit and then but this is how I got out and this is where I am today or this is how they got out and this is where they are today I can't help but wonder that wouldn't be an excellent short this one's untested I’m curious if you want to try it on your channel please do and then let me know in the comments how it goes i could see this going very well for a weight loss journey type of channel or a fitness channel where you kind of tell clients stories like hey this this this happened and it's not a pure sales testimonial but focus on the awesome things and the very specific things that that person did to get the different result than what they were always getting before 

Micro-Skills:

if you can share a micro skill or a micro hack this is already done well this concept is proven to do very very well traditionally it was done in conglomerate videos like 37 amazing home organization hacks or 28 hacks to fix your car in under an hour but if you take one hack and you make it into a short and you show just hey this is the thing this is exactly how to do it you show very visually snappy peppy this is what you do and this is the result, oh man I think that would be excellent

Summary of an event or of previous videos or things that have been happening for example if on your channel you did a series of events where people were kind of following along let's say it's kind of sporting style and you did a series of events you could do a summary and say so this is what we did this was the event these were the things that happened this person won then this person lost and this person won then this person lost and then by the end they say and this was the winner if you want to see the full story go check it out on my channel
