WhatsApp will let you hide 'Last Seen' status from specific contacts.

According to WhatsApp beta news blog WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is testing a feature to hide the user's 'last seen' status from specific contacts.

On WhatsApp, 'Last seen' tells other users when someone last opened the app and can indicate if they checked the app without replying to a message. Currently, you can hide your 'last seen' from everyone, but that means you can't even see anyone else status of last seen. There is also an option to set 'last seen' for your contacts only, but you can't choose specific people to keep it secret. So, now WhatsApp is adding a feature that will be very helpful for people who take their privacy more seriously.

The new feature will add "My Contacts Except..." option to this list, making it possible for you to block certain people from viewing your 'last seen.' It's currently in beta version for both iOS and Android, and will hopefully be released to all of WhatsApp soon.
